Arteta: "Arsenal has a very short squad"

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta complained about the short bench after the defeat in the English League Cup against Brighton (1:3).

"We know where we are now. We also know that we have some injuries, the squad is very, very short. I've been saying this since day one at Arsenal. When all the players are available, everything is fine, but at the moment, we understand what the problem is. Nothing new.

In January, we must look for opportunities in the transfer market. So there will be a lot of options available to reinforce," Goal quoted Arteta as saying.

We will remind that the Ukrainian defender of the Gunners, Oleksandr Zinchenko, came on as a substitute in the 72nd minute of the match against Brighton, when the team was already trailing 1:3.
