Messi: "Guardiola has done a lot of damage to football"

PSG striker Lionel Messi recalled his years at Barcelona under Josep Guardiola.

"Guardiola has done a lot of damage to football. The way we acted on the field seemed so simple that everyone wanted to copy it. I have seen similar ideas in different clubs. However, Guardiola has something special in the way he prepares for the game and puts his ideas into the players' heads," Mundo Deportivo quoted Messi as saying.
