Yesterday, in the match of the final, 26th round of the championship, Pakhtakor defeated Bunyodkor away (2:0) and thanks to this victory, retained the first line in the tournament table. Navbakhor, which finished second, was only one point behind the Shatsky team.
Pakhtakor became the champion of Uzbekistan for the 15th time in its history, which is a national record. The second indicator in terms of the number of champion titles is shared by Neftchi from Ferghana and Bunyodkor, which mined gold five times.
Recall that Shatskikh was appointed the head coach of Pakhtakor in July this year. The 44-year-old specialist signed a three-year contract with this club.
