“Refereeing doesn’t help us,” Igor Jovicevich after a draw with Zorya

The head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk Igor Jovicevich talks about his team's draw against Zorya Luhansk (2:2) in yesterday's match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian Championship.

“We can say for sure that refereeing does not help us. It is obvious. So that no one thinks that the judges are helping us. And today there was proof of this: an absolutely clean first goal, and the second goal too. But refereeing also has its own committee, which analyzes the game the way I analyze the game of my team. They must draw their own conclusions. But these are two clean goals. The first one is right. Because Stepanenko did not play that ball, another player scored - a clean goal. And we're talking about an obvious mistake.

Naturally, when you look at the replay now, and the team also looked, this obviously affects the result. What was the second half - in terms of energy, in terms of dynamics, but after such uncounted goals... Anyone who understands football understands that this is a winning match. This is a winning match. You get positive emotions and bring the game to the end to a positive result. They don’t count one, they don’t count the second - so how many goals do you need to score to win the match? Obviously, today the refereeing was not in our favor. But we don't ask to be judged in our favor - we just want it to be fair. It wasn’t like that today,” Jovićević said.

Без заангажированного ВАР-арбитра это не рентабельно :-)
