FIFA spoke about a truce in the bloody war unleashed by the Russian Federation during the 2022 World Cup

FIFA President Gianni Infantino made the proposal during a lunch with G20 representatives.

“I invite everyone to think about a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia for one month during the 2022 World Cup. Or at least implement humanitarian corridors that could lead to the resumption of dialogue as a first step towards peace.
