The youth team of Ukraine in preparation for Euro 2023 lost one of its three forwards

The youth team of Ukraine, which yesterday started a training camp in Tbilisi in preparation for participation in the final part of Euro 2023 (U-21), suffered a personnel loss.

The striker of the Swiss Basel Bogdan Vyunnik was out of action due to an injury, the press service of the UAF reports. As a result, the head coach of the Ukrainian "youth team" Ruslan Rotan left two forwards - Daniil Goncharuk from the Spanish "Lleida" and Mykola Kukharevich from the Scottish "Hibernian".

Recall that within the framework of the training camp that started, the youth team of Ukraine will play two friendly matches. Next Saturday, November 19, the Blue-Yellows will have a sparring match with the Israeli youth team, and on Monday, November 21, the Rotan team will test their strength in a friendly match with the Georgian youth team.

As for Euro 2023 (U-21), there is still a lot of time before its start: the European Youth Championship will be held from June 21 to July 8 next year on the football fields of Romania and Georgia. The Ukrainian team at the Euro group stage will play in the same group with Spain, Croatia and Romania.
