"Al-Ain" midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko returned to his homeland for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine, visiting Chernihiv region.

On Tuesday, the captain of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Yarmolenko shared a photo in which he is happy to return to the country. Taking advantage of the pause at the 2022 World Cup, the player went to the Chernihiv region, where he is a native.

However, Al-Ain fans, who have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction with Yarmolenko, did not understand such a move by Andrii. Some of them, in a clearly ironic way, wished the Ukrainian not to return to the location of the UAE champions.
