Manchester United and Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo could become an Australian Football League player.
"We have expressed our interest in bringing Ronaldo to Australia. It's obviously a risk, but we certainly have an offer for him to consider," AFL chief executive Danny Townsend was quoted as saying by Yahoo Sports.
It is noted that Ronaldo's former partner from Portugal Nani is playing for Melbourne Victory in the Australian Championship.
