Neville - Ronaldo: "Cristiano looks like a man who thinks the whole world is against him"

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville commented on the interview of Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo with journalist Piers Morgan.

"I don't think he wants to come back himself. He wouldn't be giving this interview if he wanted to. He knew it would attract press attention and spell the end of his Manchester United career.

I wonder what the club will do because the reality is they know they have to terminate Cristiano's contract otherwise they are effectively setting a precedent where any player can criticize them in the future.

I agree with some of the things Cristiano has said and a lot of Manchester United fans will agree but the reality is if you are an employee of a company and you say things like that you should be out of a job and Manchester United should do it as soon as possible the other day

Cristiano probably wants it too, but it wasn't supposed to end like this. They could have come together a few weeks ago and made their way through what could have been rough seas to the shore, but that didn't happen, they effectively backed themselves into a corner.

Cristiano looks like a man who thinks the whole world is against him - it shouldn't be. The club needs to get in touch with Cristiano and his advisers and find a way to get this over with very quickly. It's getting more and more unpleasant every day and there's no need for it," Sky Sports quoted Neville as saying.

В первую очередь тренер виноват . Ситуация зрела еще летом . Он вместо решения начал тролить КриРо . Ну и понеслось ....
