Ex-goalkeeper of Dnipro Mykola Medin commented on his opinion about the level of the Ukrainian championship and the game of Dynamo.
Nikolai Medin— How do you see Ukrainian club football now?
- In comparison with what it was before the war, the level of the championship, of course, fell. But there are also advantages. There are fewer foreign players in the clubs, and this is a chance for young players to express themselves. This process is underway. There are some good players.
- Which of the clubs made you happy, who disappointed?
- Disappointed Dynamo. The team is not like itself. Apparently, in the club, something is wrong. Perhaps there are some internal conflicts. Despite the fact that Lucescu is an experienced coach, Dynamo still cannot find their game. Either injuries, then cards, then ridiculous mistakes that lead to a negative result. I think this season is already lost for the capital club.
- What, in your opinion, are the advantages of SC "Dnepr-1"?
- The team of SC "Dnepr-1" is balanced. The club has made very good acquisitions. It can be seen that the legionnaires were selected according to individual qualities, with good technique, vision of the field. Plus, our Ukrainian football players are of a good level. There is a result, despite the fact that the new coaching staff had a minimum of time to convey their ideas about the game to the players. As you can see, they coped with their task. And if they manage to bring the team to a common denominator, then SC Dnepr-1 will fight for the first place in the championship.
