The matches of the 14th round of the Ukrainian Championship took place this weekend. In one of them, on Monday, November 21, Veres Rivne and Dynamo Kiev met. The fight was nominally home for the team from Rivne, but by agreement between the clubs, it took place in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky.

Dynamo started this match very actively, trying to immediately push Veres to its penalty area. To some extent, the people of Kiev succeeded, but only things did not go beyond a series of passes to the goal, each of which was "read" by the players of the Wirth team.
In general, Veres defended quite confidently and compactly, without giving Dynamo space for combinations. As a result, for the entire first half of the first half, the White-Blues created only one chance, which can hardly be called a goal: in the 19th minute of the meeting, Tymchik with a split pass brought Vanat to a striking position in the right part of the Veres penalty area, but guarded his opponent did not allow the Dynamo player to shoot properly. The kick still took place, but Kogut switched the game to a corner.
The Kievans continued to storm the gates of Veres at high speeds, and on the 27th minute it finally brought its result: Tsygankov with a brilliant shot with a twist from 25 meters sent the ball almost into the top nine of the Veres goal - 0:1 .
Having missed, "Veres" rebuilt, began to strive to attack. And later he turned on the pressure. As a result of such actions, the Rovno residents leveled off the game. But "Veres" did not create any threats to the gates of Buschan in the remaining time of the first half. As a result, the teams went to the break with a minimal advantage of Dynamo.
Dynamo started the second half as actively as it did the first half of the meeting, literally "closing" the opponent in his half of the field and almost continuously controlling the ball. One thing was missing - the actual sharpness. But "Veres" in the 62nd minute of the match was very close to a goal: Gagun filed from the right into the Dynamo penalty area, and Dakhnovsky struck a spectacular volley shot from about the 11-meter mark - the ball whistled over the very crossbar of Buschan's goal.
In the future, the game continued to take place with the full advantage of Dynamo. And still no chances at the gates of "Veres". And only in the 76th minute of the meeting, for the first time after the break, the people of Kiev created a threat to the goal of "Veres": there was a pass to the penalty area for Buyalsky, he shot from an acute angle and close range, and the ball flew half a meter from the far post. Dynamo could score even five minutes later: the three-mover Tsygankov - Buyalsky - Garmash led to the fact that the latter was one on one with Kogut, shot from 8 meters, but the Veres goalkeeper, having shortened the distance to the opponent in time, managed to rescue his team from a sure goal. Finally, in the 87th minute of the meeting, a powerful shot by Tsygankov from 27 meters took place, but the goalkeeper of Veres again turned out to be on top: this time, in a throw, with great difficulty he switched the game to a corner. Dynamo could not achieve more in this match. As a result, the minimum victory of Mircea Lucescu's team, 1:0.
Having defeated Veres, Dynamo overtook Zorya Lugansk on points. Both teams now share the third and fourth places in the standings of the Ukrainian Championship. The gap between the Kyivans and the second-placed Shakhtar is one point (but the Pitmen have a game in hand), and nine points behind the leading Dnipro-1.
In the next round, Dynamo is waiting for a home match with Metalist 1925 Kharkiv. This meeting will take place next Saturday, November 26 in Kyiv at the Dynamo Stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky (beginning at 14:00).
