The legendary Milan defender Paolo Maldini expressed his opinion about Andriy Shevchenko.
“Shevchenko did not have sharp dribbling, but he controlled his body very well. Perhaps it would be easier for a defender like me to deal with quick but predictable players. Players like Andrei created more difficulties with their unexpected movements," Maldini said in a comment to Milannews.
Recall that Maldini and Shevchenko played together for AC Milan from 1999 to 2006.
