Football fans in Argentina got up early this morning to support their team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, but instead of enjoying the first and expected victory over complete underdog Saudi Arabia, they were in for a big shock.
“A completely unexpected loss, for which even the most inveterate pessimists were not prepared. I hope that the team will rectify the situation as quickly as possible, 21-year-old student Nicolas Rearte told Reuters.
“Honestly, I can't believe it. This match was very strange, but that's football. We played poorly and are looking forward to the next match,” says Fabian Rodriguez.
