Gavi is the third youngest scorer in World Cup history

Spanish midfielder Gavi scored the ball against Costa Rica (7:0) in the 2022 World Cup match.

At the age of 18 years and 110 days, Spanish midfielder Gavi became the youngest goal scorer in World Cup history.

Only Pele and Manuel Rosas were younger. The Brazilian scored in 1958 at 17 years and 239 days. Mexican - in 1930 at 18 years and 93 days.

Gavi also became the youngest player in the Spanish national team in major tournaments.
