Eden Hazard: "I didn't come to the World Cup to make political statements"

Midfielder of the Belgian national team Eden Hazard criticized the decision of the players of the German national team to take pictures with their hands over their mouths as a sign of protest. Which was a symbolic gesture of silence after FIFA banned Germany and six other nations, including Belgium, from wearing LGBTQ+ and "One Love" armbands.

"They would rather not protest and win the match. We are here to play football. I am not here to send political messages. Other people have better opportunities for this. We want to focus on football," Hazard was quoted as saying by Goal.

We will remind that the German national team lost to the Japanese team, leading until the 75th minute of the game in one ball.
