Brazil defender Thiago Silva took part in the match of the 1st round of the 2022 World Cup against the Serbian team.
Silva became the oldest Brazilian player ever to play for the national team at the World Cup (38 years and 63 days), ahead of Jalma Santos (37 years and 138 days).
Santos, together with the national team, won the World Cup twice - in 1958 and 1966.
