The hosts played without several key players who are involved in the Ukrainian U19 national team, but this did not prevent them from controlling the course of events from the start of the match and gaining a spectacular victory. After the starting minutes in the positional struggle, the teams began to organize attacks and the goalkeepers did not have to be bored. The guests could have opened the score in the 18th minute, but Ostrovsky missed his moment.
However, the higher level of Dynamo players made itself felt. In the 35th minute, Gusev's accented cross found Yanchishin in someone else's penalty area, who, in a head fall, accurately shot from close range - 1:0. Until the end of the half, the score did not change, and after the break, Igor Kostyuk's wards increased their movement and scored twice more.
At the 57th minute, the very first corner at the Metallist-1925 goal led to a goal. The defenders took the first serve from the corner of the field, but the ball ended up with Matkevich, who aggravated the game, beat two opponents and gave an assist to the same Yanchishyn.
Dynamo immediately missed two good chances to remove all questions about the winner, but quickly scored the third goal. The Kharkiv team could not get out of the pressure, they made a mistake, Matkevich intercepted the ball and passed to Zorenko in the penalty area, where Maxim played 100% effectively - a biting and accurate shot into the far corner.
Until the end of the match, the Kievans continued to control the events on the field, could still score, but limited themselves to three accurate shots.
