Today in Ukraine, the autumn part of the PFL competition officially ended with six matches in both groups of the first league - three more matches took place yesterday. Thus, the participants of both groups decided to continue the competition in the spring in a new format.
Champion group
"Polyssia", "Karpaty", "Epicentr", "Niva" (Ternopil), "Obolon", LNZ, "Metalurg", "Kremin".
Relegation group
"Prykarpattia", "Dinaz", "Bukovyna", "Mariupol", "Chernihiv", "Poltava", "Skoruk", "Girnyk-Sport".
We will remind that according to the regulations, according to the results of the competition, the two winners of the Championship group go directly to the Premier League, and the third and fourth places play in the playoffs with the teams that took 14th and 13th places in the UPL, respectively.
As for the Relegation Group, the eighth team goes directly to the second division, and the seventh plays in a play-off with the second team of the second division.
The championship group will be formed taking into account the points obtained in the matches between themselves. The same applies to the Relegation Group. In the spring, at the second stage, the teams of Group A play matches only with the teams of Group B in two rounds.
Thus, the teams will play a total of 176 matches. One team plays 22 matches in the championship. The final list of participants of the two spring groups will be formed in the near future.
