"Bournemouth" on its official website announced the appointment of Gary O'Neill as the head coach of the team.
In August, the 39-year-old coach took charge of Bournemouth's first team following the sacking of Scott Parker. Initially, O'Neill performed his duties on an interim basis, but now the management has decided to sign a full-fledged contract for 18 months. Under his leadership, the Cherries played 12 matches in the Premier League, in which they won four, lost four times and drew as many.
The British media reported that Bournemouth were in talks with former Leeds coach Marcela Bielsa.
