Ruslan Rotan may join the coaching staff of Sergei Rebrov in the Ukrainian national team

The coach of the Ukrainian youth team Ruslan Rotan may join the coaching staff of Sergei Rebrov in the national team of Ukraine. This is reported by TaToTake.

Sergei Rebrov

According to the source, the agreement between the head coach of the Ukrainian national team Oleksandr Petrakov and the UAF expires on December 31. But this does not mean that from January 1, 2023, the specialist will cease to be a team mentor. However, according to the source, there are several ways for the development of events:

First option: Rebrov leads the team until March and prepares it for the away Euro 2024 qualifier against England, without Petrakov.

The second option: Petrakov is preparing the national team for a meeting with the British, and Rebrov will lead the team in the summer.

The third option: perhaps the head coach of the Ukrainian youth team Ruslan Rotan will join Rebrov's headquarters. Therefore, Petrakov can remain in the Ukrainian national team until the end of the final part of the European Youth Championship 2023 (late June-early July), and then lead the Ukrainian U21 team.

The fourth option: for the match with England, the Ukrainian national team can be prepared by one of Rebrov's future assistants. In this case, Petrakov will have to wait a little longer.

It is also known that all these options are possible only by agreement between Petrakov and the head of the UAF Andrey Pavelko. Petrakov has no complaints about Pavelko, since he gave him "the work of his life."
