Today, on November 30, the Acting President of the Athletics Federation of Ukraine Yevgeny Pronin announced in his Telegram channel that Andriy Shevchenko apparently did not submit a written statement about leaving the National Olympic Committee.
However, as reported FootballHub, this thesis is not true. According to the source, Andriy Shevchenko submitted a corresponding written statement on November 18 to withdraw from the NOC. This decision was motivated by the fact that the NOC included very controversial persons with a pro-Russian position.
