Brazilian football legend Pelé is receiving palliative care after chemotherapy failed to work in his battle with colon cancer, Brazilian media reported citing Reuters.
Pele, 82, was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday to evaluate cancer treatment and was later diagnosed with a respiratory infection.
Palliative care includes comprehensive care to maintain a good quality of life for every cancer patient.
