The head coach of the Netherlands team, Louis van Gaal, shared his impressions of the victory over the USA team (3:1) in the match of the 1/8 finals of the 2022 World Cup.
"We managed to execute the game plan - to create free zones. One goal is more beautiful than another. We saw incredible goals. But the team is not working well enough with the ball. We do everything right when the opponent has the ball, but we ourselves make unforced errors. We need to improve this component, otherwise we will not become world champions," Van Gaal was quoted as saying by Goal.
