In November, Setanta showed almost all matches of Dynamo and other clubs exclusively on its paid OTT platform

If you think that the catavasia with the only telepool in the UPL has died down, then maybe it is. But Tribuna.com noticed a curious thing - after the events of September, when five clubs strangled a single telepool through the Pechersk Court and the Verkhovna Rada, the league's official broadcaster Setanta began increasingly to show games featuring these clubs exclusively on its OTT platform.

That is, only through paid access. In October, out of 10 away games of "Dynamo", "Dnipro-1", "Metalista", "Zori" and "Rukha", which Setanta could show, three matches were broadcast exclusively on the company's paid platform. It:

Shakhtar - Dynamo

Chornomorets - Zorya

Lviv - Metalist

As for the rest of the games shown, only the game "Metalist 1925" - "Minay" was broadcast by Setanta only on OTT. And already in November, the trend became even clearer. 12 relegated club matches on the menu of the official UPL broadcaster and as many as 10 of them exclusively on setantasports.com.

Also, in addition to OTT, the Shakhtar - Zorya match was broadcast on the Setanta TV channel. And only the game "Alexandria" - "Rukh" could be watched in parallel with OTT on free Youtube.

Again, among the other games shown by Setanta in November, only the meeting between Metalist 1925 and Veres was seen only by subscribers of the Georgian company's OTT service.

Tribuna.com asked the Setanta company what exactly this formation of the broadcasting network in November is connected with. The broadcaster replied that after the end of the first part of the season, they plan to conduct a general communication with the media and answer all questions of interest already there.
