Real Madrid midfielder Eden Hazard has announced his retirement from the Belgian national team.
“Today I turn the page. Thank you for your love and unparalleled support. Thank you for all the wonderful moments that we have experienced together since 2008. Today I decided to end my international career. The next generation is ready. I will miss you," Azar wrote on social media.
For 14 years in the national team, Azar played in 126 matches (56 times he was the team captain). He has 33 goals and 36 assists to his credit.
