General Director of Chernomorets Anatoly Misyura spoke about the team's plans for the winter break and his vision of the immediate future of the Odessa club in the light of the arrest of its owners.
— Anatoly Nikolayevich, yesterday Chornomorets played their last match in the outgoing year. What are the team's plans for the winter?
- Today the players went on vacation. After a rest, which, like in other Ukrainian clubs, will last about a month, Chornomorets will gather at its base in early January. In Sauvignon, we will hold a small pull-in camp, after which we plan to go to Turkey, where the main preparation for the second part of the season will take place.
— Dynamo is going to hold four training camps in Turkey. How many of them will Chernomorets have?
- This question is better addressed to our head coach. My task is to ensure the departure of the team and the quality of the training camp directly in Turkey.
— For the winter break, Chornomorets left in the penultimate place in the standings. Are there any personnel changes planned?
- This question should again be answered by Roman Grigorchuk.
— I cannot but ask about your vision of the situation around the owners of Chernomorets Kaufman and Granovsky. What do you think about this?
- I am not competent in this matter, so I will refuse to comment. There are relevant government agencies that can answer this question. I, like you, learn about everything from the press. I don't have any other information.
— And yet: will we see Chornomorets in the Premier League next spring?
— You ask provocative questions. Today, I do not see anything bad for Chornomorets in the near future. We are not the first to face difficulties. It is clear that everyone is worried, but I hope that everything will be fine and we will continue to play in the Ukrainian championship.
