Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Maicon, who has been on loan for the Brazilian Corinthians since this spring, does not want to return to the Pitmen's camp, Sport Witness reports.
According to the source, the 25-year-old football player has already notified the Shakhtar management of his intentions, but it is still difficult to judge how this situation will end.
On the one hand, Corinthians would like to buy the transfer rights to Maicon from Donetsk after the end of the lease agreement, which expires on December 31 this year. But, on the other hand, the Brazilian club is unable to satisfy Shakhtar's financial appetites: the Pitmen are ready to let go of their legionnaire for 7 million euros.
