France striker Antoine Griezmann, having provided two assists in yesterday's match of the 2022 World Cup quarter-finals with England (2:1), brought the number of his assists in the national team to 28.
This allowed the 31-year-old football player to become the best assistant in the history of the French national team. Griezmann outperformed the now previous assistant leaders of the French national team, Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane, with 26 assists each.
