Zvonimir Boban warned Andriy Shevchenko that he should not run for president of the UAF now

UEFA reacted to the report that the former head coach of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko is running for the presidency of the UAF, Ukrainian journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky said.

Andrey Shevchenko

According to the source, Shevchenko received a call from his former partner in the Italian Milan Zvonomir Boban, who now holds the position of UEFA director of professional football.

“Shevchenko received a call from UEFA — from his ex-colleague from Milan Zvonimir Boban. He told Shevchenko not to do this (to go now to the presidency of the UAF - ed.)otherwise he will ruin his reputation. Thus, they do not come to power. UEFA is unlikely to appreciate this,” Spivakovsky said on the air of TaToTake.

Recall, according to unofficial information, the UAF presidential elections will be held on December 20 this year.
