The current president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, will be able to stay in his post until 2031.
In the spring, presidential elections will be held, in which Gianni Infantino will be the only candidate. Thus, he will retain his position until 2027. However, according to FIFA rules, one candidate can be re-elected three times, so Gianni Infantino can theoretically hold the position until 2031.
The 52-year-old specialist took over as FIFA president in 2019, after Joseph Blatter was accused of corruption.
