England head coach Gareth Southgate will continue with the national team after the 2022 World Cup. This was reported by the Football Association of England on its Twitter page.
It is reported that Southgate and his assistant Steve Holland will work with the team in the Euro 2024 qualification. The England team will play in the same group with Ukraine, Italy, North Macedonia and Malta.
Recall that England flew out of the 2022 World Cup in the quarter-finals, losing 1:2 to France. Southgate has led the team since 2016. Under his leadership, the team reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the final of Euro 2020.
