“There is no evidence of state intervention in the affairs of the UAF,” Igor Tsyganik about the soap bubble created by the UAF

Well-known Ukrainian TV presenter Ihor Tsyganyk explained that the UEFA letter recently “thrown” into the media space in response to a complaint from bureaucrats from the UAF does not even say that Ukrainian football can be disqualified due to alleged state interference in the affairs of the Ukrainian football association.

Igor Tsyganik

“As for the UEFA letter that came in response to the UAF’s appeal, I can say that this is just a reply. Just read the FIFA and UEFA regulations yourself. Yes, it clearly states that state bodies have no right to interfere in the football affairs of the country. The national association is subordinate only to FIFA and UEFA. But what is government intervention? This, for example, Zelensky's Decree on the dismissal of Pavelka.

So at the moment there is no interference in the football affairs of the UAF. There are litigations, but this is an economic situation, FIFA and UEFA cannot interfere here. Nobody is going to exclude Ukraine. Moreover, there are no grounds yet that Ukraine can be excluded from international competitions. Because there is no evidence of state interference in the affairs of the UAF.

At the same time, it is interesting to understand why the letter of complaint from the UAF to UEFA was signed not by Pavelko, but by Protasov, Mikhailichenko and Demyanenko? Explain to me why? If there is evidence of interference in the work of the UAF, then why was the letter not signed by the head of domestic football?

And I will answer you why this is so: because at this stage there is no evidence. There are only conversations. I guarantee you that if the conditional executive committee of the UAF meets, then everything that it approves will be in the regulations of FIFA and UEFA, ”Tsyganik said on the air of his author’s program on Youtube.
