The Athletic journalist David Ornstein spoke about the possible transfer of Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Mykhailo Mudrik to Arsenal London.
“Mudrik is the player that Arsenal want to sign. They followed him for a long time. He was on Arsenal's list of potential newcomers to the club during the summer transfer window.
Now Arsenal is negotiating both with Shakhtar and with the player's representatives. Shakhtar publicly stated that they want 100 million euros for Mudrik. But Arsenal won't want to pay that much. And he won't do it. I think the same can be said about any other club.
So, most likely, when it comes to agreeing on the specific terms of the deal, Shakhtar will lower the price for Mudrik,” the journalist said.
