The French "Marseille" continues to be interested in the services of the 29-year-old midfielder of the Ukrainian national team and Atalanta Ruslan Malinovsky.
The Provencals wanted to sign Malinovsky last summer, but then they could not reach an agreement with Atalanta, and decided to postpone the negotiations until the winter.
However, in January, Marseille is also unlikely to be able to sign the Ukrainian midfielder. All because of the position of the Atalanta management, which previously asked for 10 million euros for Malinovsky, but recently changed its position and demands twice as much - 20 million.
This amount is unbearable for Marseille. In addition, France sees no reason to pay that kind of money for a player whose contract expires in six months.
Interestingly, earlier Italian sources reported on the extension of Malinovsky's labor agreement with Atalanta until the summer of 2024, but there was no official confirmation of this information.
