Ex-defender of Dynamo Kyiv Alexander Golovko, who is now the head coach of Vyshgorod Dinaz from the First League, summed up the performance of his team in the first part of the current season. It should be noted that Dinaz finished the year in 6th place in the standings of Group A of the First League (a total of 8 teams play in the group).
- Dinaz made its debut in the first league this season. We understood that it would be difficult, but we wanted to finish in the top 4. There is what we have. There were mistakes, but there were also great moments. In my opinion, it was still more positive. I believe that we have achieved the desired result. Dinaz is gradually maturing, and this is the main thing. We will work during the off-season to make progress in the game.
New competition format? Everyone must do their job. The main thing is that we had to start the championship during the war. The leaders tried to find the most optimal competition format that would suit the clubs in the current conditions. Everyone who does not count points before the second part of the season will criticize this format, but I repeat that holding the championship now is already a success.
On the eve of the holidays, first of all, I would like to wish Ukrainians peace and victory to our country. I want the revival of the whole Ukraine to begin precisely because of football. Football is emotions that help to immerse yourself in something other than war at least for a while. I wish everyone their dreams come true,” said Golovko.
