Mudrik reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal

Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk has reached an agreement in principle with Arsenal and may soon sign a contract with the London club.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, negotiations between Arsenal and Shakhtar continue. At the same time, Newcastle are also interested in the Ukrainian midfielder.

Earlier, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed the possibility of signing Mudrik in the winter transfer window. The Ukrainian remains a priority target for the Gunners.

This season, Mykhailo played for Shakhtar in 18 matches, scoring 10 goals and providing eight assists.
