Zhan Beleniuk: "I don't know if Tymoshchuk has any property left in Ukraine..."

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Youth and Sports Zhan Beleniuk commented on the sanctions against Tymoshchuk in connection with Russian athletes.

Zhen Beleniuk

— I do not know whether Tymoshchuk still has any property left in Ukraine, but with this decision we did everything so that nothing would connect him with Ukraine. So far, we have listed 56 athletes. But immediately after the publication of this list, my colleagues started calling me and calling me new names of the enemies of Ukraine, and providing video evidence of their hostile views. Therefore, this list will definitely be expanded. In order not to add to it one surname at a time, we will collect everyone and enter it as a whole package.

Now the National Security Council must monitor all these athletes, whether they have any property in Ukraine or whether they have assets. If they have, everything will be blocked. If not, it will be a signal to other supporters of war, the deputy is quoted as saying Express.
