Igor Jovichevich about UPL refereeing: "I'm a foreigner, but I'm not stupid"

Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Igor Jovicevich expressed his opinion about refereeing in Ukraine.

- Removal of Mudrik in the game with Rukh, canceled goal of Zubkov with Oleksandriya, cancellation of two goals against Zorya. Aren't there many controversial moments during 13 matches not in favor of Shakhtar?

- There is a level - players, coaches, referees. If the referee does this on purpose, Ukrainian football has a problem. If he is simply mistaken, then everyone is mistaken - me, the players - and then it's okay. If the error repeats, everything is obvious.

I am a foreigner, but I am not stupid. In this matter, you need to work and protect the interests of the club. I talk about this in an interview, but for each interview there may be penalties, fines. We must concentrate on the football field, give the maximum there. I see that this happens not only with us, but also with other teams: who gets points, who gets taken away. This is repeated, and we must talk about it.

I repeat: if this is done on purpose, we have a problem, but if it is a matter of human error, then everything will be improved, and there is nothing to worry about. You should watch how often this is repeated, and then react.
