Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has decided on his future in the team. According to Mundo Deportivo, the footballer turned down an offer from the Catalans to extend the agreement until the summer of 2024.
He wants to leave Europe and continue his career in the US and Canadian MLS. His contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2023.
Earlier, the 34-year-old footballer announced his retirement from the Spanish national team. In the 2022/2023 season, he played 16 matches in all tournaments and provided one assist.
