The Italian "Spezia" wants to formalize a full-fledged cooperation with the Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Kovalenko, who was loaned from another representative of Serie A - Atalanta.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Spezia intends to buy out the transfer rights for the 26-year-old footballer and sign him to a contract until 2026.
The term of Kovalenko's current lease at Spezia is calculated until the end of the current season. The contract of the Ukrainian with Atalanta expires in the summer of 2025. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer value of the player is 2 million euros.
This season, Kovalenko took part in only seven matches of "Spice" and has not yet been noted for effective actions. Last season, the midfielder also played on loan for Spezia (27 matches, 1 goal, 4 assists).
