Well-known Russian journalist Alexei Andronov commented on the postponement of the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) scheduled for yesterday, at which a vote was to be held on the withdrawal of Russian football from UEFA and the transition to the Asian Football Confederation.
“Rescheduled. So they doubt it. This means that there are no “guarantees” (it’s even interesting what they can be in principle),” Andronov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Recall that earlier the former president of the RFU, Vyacheslav Koloskov, suggested that the postponement of the vote was due to the desire "to receive some kind of guarantees from FIFA and from the Asian Confederation."
