Former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Yevhen Levchenko commented on the rumors about the possible transfer of Dynamo winger Viktor Tsygankov to PSV.
“People who deal with PSV's transfer policy have shortlists. I think that Tsygankov is one of the candidates who can replace Cody Gakpo.
In fact, it is much more difficult to take a player who has not yet played in Europe than to take a player who, relatively speaking, plays in the Dutch championship.
PSV definitely has a certain list of players they would like to see in their country. I'm not sure that Tsygankov is a priority purchase. If the price for it is high, then, of course, PSV will not buy it.
It would be great if Tsygankov moved to PSV and could play in Europe. I'm glad he didn't renew his contract with Dynamo.
Buying, relatively speaking, Tsyhankov, who is currently playing in Ukraine, or taking Karlsson from AZ or Brynhildsen from Molde, these are different risks,” Levchenko said.
