The Portuguese signed a contract with a team from Saudi Arabia, according to which he will receive a salary of 175 million pounds per year. About 25,000 people gathered at Al-Nasr Stadium to greet the new star. The club prepared a special light show. Before that, Ronaldo talked to reporters.

“I am proud to have come here. This is an important decision in my life and career. My work in Europe is done. We're good here. People in Saudi Arabia are very hospitable. I had offers from many clubs. From Brazil, Australia, USA and even Europe. There were many teams from Portugal that wanted to involve me.

However, I have the opportunity to share my great experience here, and this is important for me. Most people don't know much about local football. But do not forget that there are no weak opponents. Everyone knows how to play, and there are many surprises. Remember which team was the only one to defeat the world champions in Qatar.

I want to be successful. Enjoy football and play it,” said the Portuguese.

За такие чудовищные, как для игрока даже такого класса деньги,можно и покривить душой.Впрочем Роналду несомненно может рассуждать,как ему нравиться,поклонников от этого не убудет.
