Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea plans to end his playing career at Old Trafford.
"I am not worried about the extension of the contract. Just focusing on the training process to show the best possible game. I am confident that the negotiations will end well.
I hope to finish my career here at Manchester United. I have repeatedly said that this is my club. I have been defending the colors of this club for many years. It's a great honor to be here and I'm very happy," the Spanish goalkeeper was quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
Recall that de Gea's current contract with the Red Devils expires in the summer, but the club has an option to extend the contract for another 12 months. Currently, the parties are negotiating the continuation of cooperation.
