Antonio Conte has ignored Tottenham's press conference ahead of their FA Cup tie against Portsmouth after receiving the news of Gianluca Vialli's death, according to Football Italia.
Conte was expected to speak to the media on Friday, but the devastating news forced him to step down from his coaching duties.
Vialli and Conte were close friends as well as former teammates. They were part of Juventus which won Serie A, Coppa Italia, Champions League, UEFA Cup, UEFA Super Cup and Supercoppa Italia between 1992 and 1996.
