On January 11, Alexander Vladimirovich signed a contract with his native club. The agreement, like that of the entire headquarters, is valid until the end of the 2023/24 season. After signing all the documents in the club office, Dynamo First Vice-President Vitaliy Sivkov congratulated Shovkovsky on his return to his native club and wished him victories together with the people of Kiev in his new status - one of the club's coaches.

Being a graduate of our club, Alexander Shovkovsky played for the first team for 24 seasons - from 1993/94 to 2016/17. In total, from 1994 to 2016, SaSho played 635 official matches for Dynamo.

This is not the first coaching experience of Alexander Vladimirovich. He started his coaching career, also as an assistant, in the national team of Ukraine, where from 2018 to 2022 he was a member of the coaching staffs of Andriy Shevchenko and Oleksandr Petrakov.
