The Ukrainian newcomer of the French "Marseille" - midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Ruslan Malinovsky - yesterday played the first match for his new club.
The 29-year-old Ukrainian got into Marseille's application for the away match against Troyes in the 18th round of the French Ligue 1, and in the 67th minute of the meeting he entered the game (with the score 2:0 in favor of his team), replacing Issa Kabore.
Malinovsky failed to score with effective actions in his debut match in France, while, as soon as he entered the field, he received a yellow card. True, as you can see on the replays of this game episode, the referee's decision to warn the Ukrainian newcomer is rather controversial.
