The following people celebrate their birthdays today:
Yuri Sivukha (1958) - Ukrainian football player. Known for his performances for Metalist Kharkiv and Dynamo Kyiv. World champion among juniors in 1977, winner of the USSR Cup in 1988.
Victor Fomin (1929-2007) - Soviet football player, striker. Master of Sports since 1970. He was considered one of the brightest players of Dynamo Kyiv in the 1950s, had high speed, unique dribbling, and a powerful shot from his left foot.
Bogdan Strontsitsky (1968) - former Ukrainian footballer, goalkeeper. Included in the symbolic team of the Lviv "Karpaty" since independence. From July to December 2004, Bogdan Strontsytsky worked as an assistant goalkeeper coach in the Spartak team (Ivano-Frankivsk).
Bogdan Butko (1991) - Ukrainian football player. Pupil of Donetsk Shakhtar. He also defended the colors of Volyn and Ilyichevets, playing in these clubs on loan. Butko returned to the Pitmen's first team in 2016. He is the European champion among youths (U-19). In the national team, he played his first match at the age of 20, on September 2, 2011, having played all 90 minutes in a sparring with Uruguay.
Alexey Semenenko (1958) - Vice President for Public Relations and long-term press attaché of Dynamo Kyiv. At one time, Alexei Mikhailovich constantly commented on the matches of the "white-blue".
