January 14 marks the 50th anniversary of the former Dynamo midfielder Vasily Kardash, who, in the 1990s and early 2000s, became the national champion five times and won the national Cup three times as part of the White-Blues. The honorary member of UEFA Grigory Surkis congratulated the hero of the day on the round date.

At one time, with your hard work and outstanding talent, you, a simple guy from Lviv, attracted the attention of the coaches of the grand Ukrainian football - Dynamo Kyiv. Under the leadership of the great Valeriy Lobanovskiy, you have become an important performer in the stellar team that dominated the Ukrainian championship and was feared by the giants of European football.
Having played more than a hundred matches for the White-Blues, you have earned the respect of the demanding Dynamo fans with your willingness to give your all on the field for the success of the team. After the end of your playing career, you embarked on a difficult coaching path, passing on the accumulated experience over the years of playing at the highest level under the guidance of top youth mentors in the Dynamo second team and the Ukrainian youth team.
On this festive day, I wish you, Vasily Yaroslavich, good health, family comfort and professional achievements. And, of course, our joint Victory over the enemy in a bloody war and a return to a familiar peaceful life.
