Shakhtar gave Mudrik an ultimatum: either you go to Chelsea or you don't leave the club

New details of the transfer of Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea London have emerged, which can be officially announced today.

According to well-known journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, Shakhtar persuaded their player to move to Chelsea in an ultimatum form, while he was striving to continue his career in another club from London - Arsenal.

According to a source, the Donetsk club set a condition for Mudrik: either he goes to Chelsea, or he won’t be able to change teams at all.

Recall that for a long time it was Arsenal that was the main contender for Mudrik, but Shakhtar was not satisfied with the financial offer of the Gunners in the amount of 70 million euros: the conceited owner of the Donetsk club, oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, was obsessively obsessed with receiving a "round sum" - 100 million euros.

As a result, Shakhtar spat on Mudrik's aspirations and accepted the offer of Chelsea, which agreed to pay 100 million euros for the Ukrainian. And the footballer himself was actually forced to make such a transition.
